Ask ChatGPT about maturing loans
Circlemark speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP): connect it once and ChatGPT can search loan maturities and reveal owner contacts under your account — live data, with every provenance label intact, in plain English.
What you can ask
- “Which multifamily loans in Brooklyn over $2M mature in the next 12 months? Sort by size.”

Estimated maturities always travel with their label — the assistant is told which dates are stated on the recorded document and which are modelled (≈), the same rule as our methodology.
Setup — about a minute
- Turn on developer mode. In ChatGPT: Settings → Security and login → Developer mode. Availability can depend on your account and workspace policy; on Business, Enterprise or Edu an admin controls it.
- Add the MCP server. Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, select the plus button, and give it a name and description. Under Connection, enter the server URL including the /mcp path: https://circlemark.ai/api/mcp
- Sign in and approve. ChatGPT sends you to circlemark.ai to sign in — never asks for your password in the chat — and shows a consent screen listing exactly what it may access. Click Allow.
- Ask. Start with a search — it's free. The assistant will tell you before anything spends a credit.

Workspaces
On a Business workspace, plugins are available to members by default. On Enterprise and Edu they are off until an admin turns them on. Either way each person connects as their own Circlemark seat, so searches and credits are billed to the individual, never pooled silently.
Admins can also allow a plugin in read-only mode. Circlemark declares which of its tools change anything, so a read-only rollout gives your team loan search, the watchlist and the credit balance while contact reveals stay switched off until you decide otherwise.

Credits are the same monthly allowance as the web app — 10 per month on free accounts, 300 on paid seats (see pricing). Tool descriptions state every cost, so the assistant asks before spending; phone lookups never run unasked, and a phone hold is refunded when no number is found. Nothing is ever sold inside the chat: the plugin spends only what your existing plan already includes.
Security
- OAuth 2.1, not credentials. You sign in on circlemark.ai — ChatGPT never sees your password and holds only a revocable token scoped to your seat.
- Your account, your limits. Everything runs as you: the same plan, daily search limits, and credit ledger as the web app.
- Revoke any time. Remove the plugin in ChatGPT, or from your Circlemark account — either ends access immediately.
Troubleshooting
- Developer mode is missing: it lives under Settings → Security and login, and on managed workspaces an admin can withhold it.
- Tools look stale after we ship a change: open the connection at chatgpt.com/plugins and select Refresh, then start a new chat.
- Coverage: New York City (four ACRIS boroughs) is live; Dallas–Fort Worth counties answer through the same tools as their backfills complete.
